The grow sponges this came with were wayyyyyyy too long. I had to cut the bottoms of them off so they'd fit . I had the aerogarden classic, so I guess your particular aerogarden is made to use the longer grow sponges?

@MrMaryJanes you must have purchased the wrong kit. The 3-pod and 6-pod kits contain the long sponges, and the 7-pod kits contain the shorter ones. They are all compatible without trimming unless the wrong kit is purchased.

@johanbogg - I bought the aerogarden 6 at Canadian tire, I suppose any home store that sells toaster, blenders and such would carry them... I'm guessing...
