Looking at this I must say that Velvet Goldmine movie was extremely authentic and Johnathan and Ewan did an amazing job.

Sorry to reply so late. No Iggy has not played guitar with David. In Velevt Goldmine, Ewan's character doubles for Iggy and David's guitarist Mick Ronson. Iggy has sang with David though. :)
