5 Centimeters Per Second is brilliant in Blu-Ray/HD. Just saw it and in my honest opinion I preferred it to 'The Place Promised In Our Early Days', though that one was more of a psychological thriller.
I didn't really cry at the end, but I always love anime that tells you to move on with your life.
I bought this a couple of months ago (the movie), and only just got up the courage to watch it. I knew it would make me sad, but I also knew it would take my breath away.
I was right!
Just finished watching it... I'm not crying... on the outside. I'll put it away and watch it again next year when my heart has healed.
A very beautiful movie. But Takaki's smile at the end made it bearable! I think everyone knows how he feels.
This is one of the most beautiful movies I have ever watched. I watched it more than once and it made me cry. The movie made me feel sad but I can't stop rewatching it!
This is the most beautifully disappointing movies I have ever seen.
Throughout the whole movie, I wanted Takaki and Akari to be together. It was meant to be. But in the end, she lived her life without him, and he had to learn how to live by himself. I cried when I learned they wouldn't be together. I really felt for Takaki.
I am going to recommend this to everyone that I know will listen to me. This is a masterpiece here.

Poor guy; he was so heart-broken—I totally understand that feeling.
