This lesson explains how the diatonic and chromatic intervals learned in previous lessons are used to construct major add 9, major 6/9, major 7b5, major 7#5, suspended 2, and suspended 4 chords within the C-A-G-E-D system. Naming of these chords is also covered. This is the third installment on major chord construction. See lessons 9 and 10 in this series for more information on major chords.

  • Hi Thor6908,

Thanks for writing. This guitar is a one-of-a-kind. It started out life as a Goodall Aloha model, but I had Saul Koll (Portland, OR builder) make a baritone neck for it. It isn't quite as long as a baritone and I tune the guitar down to C# instead of B as most baritone's are. I love this instrument and will be releasing some new music soon where I use it. Check out my Fab 4 on 6 and Fab 4 on 6 vol. 2 cd's. All songs played with this guitar.

  • Thanks for commenting on Jesu. I'll be posting more tunes, so check back.
