Still clueless about Henry? He was born in Canada, parents are from Hong Kong and Taiwan. And, he's in SJ-M.

  • Guys, can we not be racist pricks about this? If you want to audition for SM, DO IT. YOUR RACE DOESN'T MATTER. They said it themselves on their webpage; if you think you have it, then do it. They don't care if you're Mexican, Italian, Black, White, Brown, Rainbow, or Neon; they only care that you can sing, dance and look good on camera. Just because you're not Asian, that doesn't mean you won't get in. Calm the fuck down, listen to Henry-oppa, and AUDITION.

  • Just because he speaks Chinese doesn't mean he has an accent. Canadians often speak at least 3 languages. English, French(fluent, not crappy American rudimentary spanish or something of like) and some native languages. If they're pro, they have no outstanding accents in either language, but perfect pronunciation.

  • @vergilandnero Well obviously there are many talented people who show up at these auditions, so if you are confident in your skills and you have star potential, they could be interested in you. No you do not just enter the company with the snap of the fingers, you have to go through several rounds of these auditions in front of the company's staff. They will seriously consider you if you are talented :) late comment I know but I hope this helps!

  • @DarknessUnveils nr 2....to many words..

but I still think that the examples of the guy are badly choosen/chosen(?) as he only said asian countrys, it would be more international if he would have said something like idk " No matter what nationality you are: French, Nigerian, American(USA), Japanese, we will take you all in"...or something like that...

btw. I wish you success on your further path/road <3

  • @DarknessUnveils ...hmmm I wasn't judging(sorry if you read it like that... :S) and I honestly didn't know until now that there were non asian trainees, as I am not as well informed as you...or not informed at all except for that video...soo yeah!!! :3

  • @bascoaful who are you to judge first of all? And second, I know for a fact that there are non asian trainees currently training to become Kpop stars in SM and many other companies as well. I know from my own personal experience as well as a friend that works as a vocal trainer for trainees in SM,DSP and TS.

  • We don't care about nationalities, you can be Chinese, Japanese, Korean...BUT BE ASIAN...haha....

  • his accent is so cute:)

  • The only reason I'd audition would be just to see him. I can dance, but my singing sucks

  • @michelleshinee he grew up in Canada....i would be worried if he didn't speak English well
