He's not living his life with 100% perfect morality, but who is? What bothers me about the comments are the hatred, negativity and ignorance. I'm gay, a member of the church, and have been completely celibate. Often what happens to men and women in this predicament is sexual promiscuity, drugs, and/or suicide. The church will never accept homosexuality, but I pray that one day the church will provide a way so that young kids don't have to die or be pushed to drugs to deal with unhappiness.

I'm sorry but he says it himself. He'd have slip ups every couple of months. I don't know what that means but that shows where he is. The gospel is about having the vision of eternal life and not looking back at your previous life meaning not to repeat it. Its a hard task but it is doable. We all struggle with different temptations, homosexuality is not different.
