im looking into buying one of these in the next.. month or so, its gonna be my first project car. it runs and is actually in pretty nice condition. i cant wait to be zipping around in it.

Beautiful and unpretentious. We had a 124 Sport Coupe in the mid-seventies. While not as glamorous as the Spyder, if was a joy to run around in with my Dad when he was alive living in Syracuse, NY. Thanks for the nice visual tour of this graceful machine :)

I have the same car. My hood release cabe broke and I cant open the hood. Im thinking of maybe a wire thru to where the latch is and hooking the release mechinism . Wondering if you could do a vid so i can see the latch as to where to go with the wire. Or maybe you can figure it out and do a vid on it. Thanks man!...Robert

Thanks a lot. I did a lot of customizing to the front and rear bumpers. I now have a set of campagnolo wheels for the car. I also stripped the car of all the American crap that was added to it for the DOT.
