Well theres a lot to explain here.

Firstly haha, i race changed to a female orc because they are so hot and also am called Avye. Note i dont really care about rep etc.. i dont really raid in a guild, i just pug so no one will miss me.

Secondly, The vid is really quick.. i dont know why; well i was lagging while recording so i think Fraps just balanced it out in a stupid way ahhaha

thirdly, i would of done the ice boss but i didnt think of recording until this.. it was much better at ice boss too. Second with 9.7k DPS the rogue hit 10k

Just wondering whats the best horde char for a hunter?

The main reason why surv still is highly competitive is simply agility->crit->insane explosive shots

Once ure buffed in a raid setting, shit is going to be crazy, ure explosive shots tick 9k each, 3 times so u can imagine how much damage your going to be doing on a single target mob. 9k9k9k in 1 shot is not bad for a 6 second cooldown.

Going into raid UB, im 60% crit.

Self buffed.. roughly 70-80, fully buffed is around 80-95% crit

Survival if geared enough, can still pull even to MM, equal gear respectively. Dependant on circumstances and player positioning, skills.. survival is still competitive.

The priority list consists of:

Kill Shot

(Black Arrow, Serpent Sting, Explosive Shot)

The reason these are in brackets is because to be a competitive surv hunter, these shots are mixed dependant on fight, but this BA->SS->ES is roughly the most damaging)

Aimed Shot OR Multi-Shot Dependant on singular or multi mob

Steady Shot

one more question m8. i have an 60 lvl hunter should i level him up to 80 lvl?plz advise me!!!!!

haha dont mind me, hunters are good for pvp aswell!

Hunters are getting a really big change in cataclysm, instead of mana we will use focus ... like our pets, so yeh lvl a hunter they are fun

@az09256 yes it is good...i mean the best leveling spec is beast mastery...but then when u get to like 70 to 85, survival is the best...

ive got troll survival hunter at level 60..is survival good too have...or should i change too beast mastery

@hermy150 I have made orc because of that kind of advices. And I regret it, orc don't look agile at all. Ball of meat...he'd be great warrior, but hunter looks like shit.

Though, Orcs are close to trolls in DPS meters.

PvE: Troll (Mini blust (20% haste for 15s), PERMA 3% extra crit with bows/crossbows)

PvP: Blood elves (Silence and mana tap)

@exigo228 It's not competitive at all, especially at the highest gear levels. The raw dps is around 2k below marks. This seems to be changing in 4.0 patch, but for now, no serious raiding hunter will go surv because he will just be gimping himself.
