Palin talked about her cost-cutting measures as gov,saying"While I was at it,I got rid of a few things in the governor's office that I didn't believe our citizens should have to pay for.That luxury jet was over the top.I put it on eBay." Yes,she did list the previous governor's Westwind II plane on the popular auction site—three times.But no buyer ever made the minimum bid.She eventually sold the machine through a broker for a cool $2.1 mil,"at a loss of around half a million dollars."
