@Lotusflowerism Yes its because I moved to the states when I was 12 and I haven't been back to the UK since 2005 so I've been around Americans a while. Thus I have a mixed up article or what I call a muggle accent :P

@GraceHatton haha, i thought so! i've heard it even wears off on adults after a time. i have also heard that in the past colonial days the british sounded more near to what americans sound like. sometimes when i hear an irish person speak they sound like an american to me. thanks for replying, i'm interested in dialects.
