  • I think I know what it was! The message was: "life is meaningless because you only exist on a television show, every action you did or will ever do was written by somebody. Your whole purpose is to entertain people for half an hour". *looks at the camera*

    Maybe?

  • @NightStarX99 I think they told them they were out of whoppers

  • I just love all the philosophical comments on this one. Very interesting!

  • Chuck Norris.

  • The answer's 42.

  • @cskandrsgyrgy His head exploded. XD Ah but you're using non-sequential logic. You leaped from "I am not what I believed myself to be" to "someone is dreaming me". You just don't have omnipotent conscious control of your thoughts. You still HAVE control, you're brain is merely mostly run subconsciously. Though I suppose if you're speaking more abstractly, saying that the "self" is only the self aware part of the mind, then that's a whole other set of discussions.

  • @RobtheBig that's an elegant and clever answer.

  • @medianaranja725 XD okay, last oner, Therefore, since we chose, within the enclosed system of our own perception, even though in the grand scheme of things we only had one option, choice exists. So "Free will" is relative, even assuming their is omnipotent entity which has predetermined our every action. But then, the point I was making earlier is that just because something's relative, doesn't make it not real. If you think along those lines, then even "we" are not real, see?

  • @medianaranja725 XD Continuing. If for example Omnipotent entity defined as "God" created everything, represented by a room. And us, represented by one person. Then, two doors out of that room, representing the options we think we have. We can choose between two doors, but "god" already knowing which we will choose, did not make anything beyond the other door, only the one we were going to choose, so in reality, we only had one option, BUT, we still chose.

  • @medianaranja725 Well, I believe there's an actual term for it, but the gist is that by viewing a larger system, many things cease to be. Color, for example, when viewed at base levels, is an illusion. But does that mean red doesn't exist? The theory accepts that if something exists in an enclosed system, it exists. In other word's "choice" even it if is predetermined, exists, so long as the choice itself is made without knowledge it's predetermined.

  • @Theearl444

It is interesting what you and the this other person are saying.. good point.. but what are you really trying to say?

  • @Crina421 at the very end she whispered in his ear whatever the secret was..Whatever the secret is..makes em scream..so now he..is cuckoo too..lol
