Great video, you make it so quick and simple to make a wonderfully delicious alternative to the stuff that we have been consuming that is less than desirable. Thank you and keep up the good work!

@Jenny1954 hopefully you don't vote or drive and please keep your bra on:-) you can get brazillian nuts with the shell or without depending on if it's organic so I guess my question should have been if she was using organic nuts or not:-) I have two big nuts that will fit in your mouth idiot.

@maslk13456 Are you a complete idiot or what?????????

@thehire01 If you're a RawVegan, blanching kills vital nutrients and enzymes, thats why soaking overnight is used.

how long can nut milk be stored? My son is on the Autism spectrum, and i've been giving him Rice milk [boxed] since he was 21mo. His dad has IBS and as a baby my son had issues with regular formula, so he had the Soy formula. Sadly i wasn't able to breastfeed him as i would have liked. i didn't produce enough. [3yrs old now] is there a way to 'fortify' the milk's.
my son is a very picky eater. thinking of switching him over to the gfcf diet. but scared he won't eat.

@liesehaley I usually soak the nuts about 8 hours, then if you make the milk and refrigerate it right away (don't leave it sitting out) the milk should stay good for up to 5 days. Use any kind of nut or seed you like. Be sure to soak and rinse them well first before making the milk. Store the nut pulp in your freezer for making gluten free breads, etc.

@channelin This is a recipe for people who cannot (because of allergies) or choose not to drink cow and goat milk. This is a "milk" or mylk that is made from almonds or other nuts so no actual cows milk is required. Just water and nuts. I hope that helps.

Why don't we use a pair of clean disposable hand gloves to do so?

@TheMM007 When making food I wash my hands well and believe the energy coming from my hands is important to the creation of good food. If clean hands are of concern, you can, of course wear gloves. Be aware that some people are allergic to latex though. Enjoy!
