Great quartet number by the JMB. This is from the 2/20/88 show in Lucketts, VA and is some of the best live bluegrass ever recorded.

  • Dudley is a beast!

  • You got that right!

  • Was this their final show?

  • It was originally coined that but after the huge success (IBMA winner and Grammy nomination) of this live album, At The Old Schoolhouse, they decided to keep touring part-time and release another album in '93. I believe their last official show was in '96 in Myrtle Beach, SC.

  • i love this song. bill monroe does it better. i think

  • I love hearing Eddie hitting those low notes. This is absolutely amazing. I've got this album on my ipod and I listen to it all the time. This song and the Orange Blossom Special are my two favorites that they perform. Eddie can absolutely wear a fiddle out. What is the guys name singing tenor? I can't remember, but I love hearing those high notes too.
