I quickly show you how to move a FCP sequence from your curret hard drive to another correctly so you won't loose any media. Or to archive projects.

  • Will this work with final cut express?

  • Not sure... If you have media manager in FCE then I guess you can. Good luck.

  • Nice and Clear and fast. But i think you should of added at least 3 second handles. Otherwise if you want to change anything later on you won't be able to extend the clips or add transitions...I think?

  • Great video, very concise and helpful. Thanks a million, you just saved me the cost of 3, 2-terabyte hard-drives.

  • great, concise

  • thanks!

  • hey this was a great tutorial i mean i was actually wanting to ask you a few more questions on that but i don't know like you know when you did your smoothcaming how is that when you copy to your external drive does that come along with it ?

  • thanks playa!!!

  • Will I have all of my capture scratch files moved too? Like, if I go to open it on another computer will I be missing any media that wasn't already on my time line?

  • Thanks! Very helpful!
