We have traveled out of North Carolina to go do some digging down in Maryland for the weekend. Although the trip was long it was well worth it. We had the oppurtunity to hunt an old house site that was established sometime in the early 1700's and then was used as a hospital during the Civil War, while we were there we did recover an old 1700's era sash buckle, an old pair of scissors, and see some beautiful countryside.

We Dig Dixie
We're advocates and professionals to the proper search methods of the hobby. Along with researching, recovering and preserving history, we strive to preserve all artifacts for future generations.

You may see us finding Civil War Relics, Native American Artifacts, Old Silver Coins, or even some under water salvaging. Wherever you may find us, you'll definitely in store for a great show!

We use Tesoro, whites and minelab metal detectors, whites pinpointers & sunray probes, drop clothes and lesche diggers.

If you like the rich heritage of the American Civil War or just the hobby and enjoyment of metal detecting, please visit our website and become a part of the family on our forum. Cant wait to you there!!

Stay Tuned for future episodes where we will continue our hunt in Maryland for day II on the hunt at Antietam.
