SOTN : 24.0% Challenge

This is the low map challenge

It was started by bug7139 fall 2005 with a 26.5% map score

Since that, 2 others players have ameliorate his score, Tooya (3rd Belltower IC, 1rooms) & Yuntian (soul of wolf only, 4rooms) droping it to 26.0% in 2006

Im now finaly releasing this video, a totaly new approach of the regular castle, getting the library card in secret area of marble gallery, and reaching the lowest map ever : 24.0%

The 26.5% video from bug7139 is also available on my account, have a look if you wonder about the differences

At first I thought this isn't worth 40 minutes to watch... now i've seen the whole damn thing twice. I'm speachless on how well you execute everything. You have my deepest respect.

Well i cant say it worth it realy, your right 40min is long

But i dont see how i could have shorten the video more than it is

Also its sure if your not a old sotn player, and have a little attract for glitches, this will bore you to death

Im using savestates.... "execution" not realy "that" great

What is "great" i believe, is how i cutted down from 26.0% to 24.0%, the library card in marble gallery is the real trick (my finding)

As whe speak the record is 23.7 tough (-2rooms)

Even if it is emu'd 'n all, I respect the preplanning, execution, and vast amounts of patience that went into this. Very slick of you to caption in the corner all the tricks you were using. And the fast forwarding of clips was a godsend.

Words cannot describe how awsome that was to watch. Definitely worth the 40 minutes of time. I would never have the patience for that.

i like the way u manage to pass the whole castle i never thought there was such a challenge like low map percentage the other day i was messing around and finish the game with 80% both castles but now im gonna try to do this challenge =)

Its same problems than with richter/dracula dialog, when you redub it... it break totaly the original (goofy) spirit

But on the idea i agree, would be awesome to get a real (debuged) sotn

See psp version... there removed 2 bugs... and forgot to fix many old one they did already fix in psx usa release :/

i was beeing ironic whit a touch of sarcasm, seriusly :P anyway sombody should remake sotn and fix all the bugs and abusive parts and make the game harder, so could play it onec more :O
