  • @cockandballs83 Maybe investment in high speed trains is an outstanding idea, but in typical Democrat form the party turns to who to lead us into this future of high speed rail? AMTRAK that's who! This is why conservatives boil - the Dems have no sense whatsoever of logic or well being of the Country - just payoffs to the powers that be, the unions, and the "green" corporate elite!

  • @cockandballs83 we are not Europe Princess. Let me help you here-the government does not "invest" it squanders. If you want to build a train -go for it. Not $1.00 of money for this idiocy.

  • @cockandballs83 The federal government in the states, is by no means obligated to invest in "trains" but railroads they are, and they have done a lousy job at the maintenance of the railroads itself. Our roads are shitty, and they have done nothing if very little to improve the federal roads. Instead they are using the money to "pick" companies and contractors that use these roads and tracks to become some of the wealthiest companies in the US. U.S. Democrats are well known for this.

  • John Kerry your RIGHT! about infastructure particularly in TRAINS! Europe is well invested in these income producing investments, much like the internet which has created more commerce than anything since the train.
