1) it's that kind of mentality that shows that you don't know how the business works.
2) you said it..."crime". so you shouldn't be doing it.
3) i could understand if people were only downloading box office hits. but people download plenty of indie films, and trust me, a lot of people that make indie films are not what you consider....."rich".
4) here's a good philosophy in life....just because it's available doens't mean you have to use it. (piracy).

honestly, i think bits of it are crap. it obviously sides up with piracy. most people i've spoken with, comment positively on a movie they've downloaded..but never end up paying to see it. it's an excuse.
most people simply won't admit that they continue to download (steal) cuz they don't have to confront anyone while doing so. why don't they just steal the dvd from the shop????
listen, i know prices are high, but they're luxuries. you wanna steal something overpriced.....?..go steal some food.
