From July 22, 1998, here is a short news item about the death of pioneer Astronaut Alan B. Shepard (whom I've met!). This was taped from Headline News.
I remember watching on CSPAN the NASA memorial service for Shepard. His astronaut colleagues told some great stories. Jim Lovell said he asked Al how much his Corvette cost. Shepard said "If you have to ask, you can't afford it."

The same people that say the holocaust never happened. Probably Hiroshima never happened. Maybe all of WWII never happened. The Apollo 11 conspiracy theories have all been very successfully debunked.
