@revility Would I be able to switch to first person at will? Being able to change between would be flexible for everyone's taste, I could still play 3rd but always preferred first.

I cannot wait to see The Icon of Sin in action. I've been waiting for someone to remake that level / boss for quite some time.

Thanks for fast answer. I wish that close combat will be enjoyable - it do not need to be as hard as in devil may cry, but try it make good as it was in Heretic2 or Legacy of Kain, so player will have feeling that heroine use big sword that can do a lot of pain that just some model that is nothing more like changed flashlight mesh.

Very nice work here, can't wait to play the finished product. Is there a first person mode, by any chance?
Oh, and this just shows once again how kick-ass the Doom 3 engine was on release. I still consider it one of the best looking games around, even with the low-res textures and chunky character models. Something about the complete package is just so great.

Great mod You are making :) Please do not abandon it.
I have a couple of question - You know that D3 is fps and turning it into tpp mode look nice but is not good for fighting - it is hard to target monsters. This mod is going to be something like Heretic2? Are You going to make some kind of auto targeting and improve sword-male fight? In D3 when player attack with flashlight or fist he attack very small part of screen.

We turned off the crosshairs and hud during the trailer. There is no difference between aiming in thirdperson or first person. The camera can also be adjusted to suit the player's taste.
Melee combat is completely different in Ruiner compared D3. It has been completely redone.
