  • What a great company... Just put them in charge of restructuring American business

  • @tjmpiano Thanks - we're happy to be here!

  • The video is nice and the company has wonderful products, but this video would have been so much better if there was a bit of "COLOR" in it! I can't believe that in this day and time a company still exist that doesn't have any other races other than White, employed at the company. Are there any other races living in your community?

  • @AmazonBlk

We have a lot of diversity at King Arthur Flour, both gender (about 85% of our employee-owners are women), and socioeconomic. But as far as racial diversity, not so much, simply due to the demographics of the area. I believe Vermont is the least ethnically diverse state in the nation, and that's reflected in our workforce: there simply are very, very, VERY few people of color in this area. We're absolutely non-discriminatory; I guarantee you that. PJ Hamel, KA employee-owner.

  • are you hiring? LOL

  • @MyMukki Yes, we are! Check out our site for current job postings. ~ MJR @ KAF

  • Thank you for answering my question with such a straight forward response. The reason that I posted about your video is because I've been a customer for a long time and I once sent an email inquiring about why there wasn't any people of color in your online introduction of your companies employees but I never received an answer. I have never been to Vermont, obviously therefore I wouldn't know that now that I do I feel much better about this situation.

  • That's funny because I watched the video in my e-mail before reading the comments on YouTube and I was thinking the same thing! HA! But there aren't that many of us in Vermont. :-/

But I love love love the video...it's cute!!! Too bad I can't find the flour at Trader Joe's anymore. :-(

    Happy Kwanzaa Everyone. :-)

  • Actually, I haven't are you telling me that all of the people in Vermont are White?

  • Have you looked at Vermont's census statistics?

  • Aw, so sweet. Love your product, and you look like such a bunch of sweet people. Happy holidays!
