That room looked very small. What kind of place was that? And how much did it cost for a night? And I would have thought you'd catch a flight from Vancouver to Japan (I don't fly or travel far, so...), but it appears you're heading North, why?

Yeah, it was small - but bigger than it looks in that shot. And big enough. As for the room I'm in now, ugh... We don't have much money, so we stay in the cheapest places: hostels/backpakers/guest houses. That place in Courtenay cost $51.50 for a room for a night.

We are flying back to Japan from Vancouver. We decided to go to Vancouver Island for a few days before we went back, which turned out to be a bad idea -- it just means we spend the whole time on buses etc or walking around looking for bus stops, accommodation etc. It looks small on a map. But, no.
