600 miles of open ocean, 6 months of planning, 4 friends, 1 jet ski, 1 jet boat, and 1 adventure of a lifetime. On June 18th 2011 the Tampa Sea-Doo Crew left Miami on a Sea-Doo RXT 215 and a 180 Challenger SE and headed to the Exuma Islands in the Bahamas. This is a preview of what we saw when we got there...

Our route:

Miami to Bimini to Chub Cay to Nassau to Allen Cay to Noman's Cay to Staniel Cay and back...

  • Great vid. What camera did you use? Remember (Tomrrow is a mystery, Yesterday is history, and Today is a gift. ;{)

  • @UPGardenr Thanks! We used GoPro HD 1080P's with a variety of attachments, mounts, and underwater lenses.

  • hey man, this video is REALLY great. me and my friend are thinking about doing the same thing, but a much longer trip to actually stay on some of those islands for a while. does that seem possible to you guys? we'd like to know what it's like up close. do you think it could be done? To live on an island for at least 4 months?

  • @TheKnightprowler Definitely possible...But it would get super expensive! We had to save up for quite a while for this trip. It cost us over $6,000 for 9 days for 4 people.

  • Stupid question.... but did any of you need a captains license to do this?! Sweet video too. I think ive watched this about like 20x :D

  • @tfsportssss No captains license necessary. Basically you just need a Passport and $150 for the vessel fee. Other than that, you're pretty much on your own out there!

  • I have a 19 foot I/O that I was planning on taking on that same trip. Do you have any advice before embarking on such a voyage? How far could you get on a tank of gas? Did you guys actually camp out on any islands? If not did it look like it would actually be possible to set up a tent on some of the smaller islands without getting in trouble? My main worry is gas. Was it easy to find gas on the islands you have listed in the description here? Where did you have to pay the vessel fee?

  • @BarefootingManiac you're a faggot.

  • Did you rent the jet skis? Im only a sophmore in high school but you have inspired me

  • Just Fantastic its inspirational to watch!! Watched it now a good number of times and i have just about convinced my my wife and close friends to do it! can you tell we what kind of places you stayed at and the best way you found them assuming these were planned ahead! thanks!

  • Hey what monopod are you using in most of your video's. It seems pretty stable, are u happy with it?

  • If you're going again I'm definitely going this year! Maybe not too far but I'm starting to get prep.
