Topamax did not give me any side effects the first time I took it last year, but this time I cannot bear the side effects. No appetite, so drowsy and fatigued and the drug won't let me sleep. Numbness all over and while I took it I felt so hot like I was running a fever. Time to go back to the neuro. Never doing topamax again.

It worked for me but the side effects were awful! I didn't want to participate in conversations anymore because I'd lose my train of thought or couldn't think of the word I need at the moment. Even simple words. It was so embarrassing. The only good thing is you will probably lose weight really fast. I ate healthy, just not a lot. If you stop taking it, the weight comes back really fast too because your appetite will increase. I hope it works for you.

dude I took this pill 4 2 years and a half! BUT it was a shit I felt like dumb sometimes or lost I switched it 4 a low dose of maryjane and it did like the best results for my anxiety and obsession.. Note : I am an adict and ive tried lots of drugs this pill was given after my rehab ended ... now im only on ganja..

@melaninacrap I have heard of marijuana usage for epilepsy and other uses. I used marijuana for a 2 week span and got off of it when I was 17. I'm 33 now, so I'm taking a different approach now. Good luck with your rehab.

I actually just started "phasing out" of Keppra (after taking it for 2 years), and "phasing in" Topamax. I was taking Lamictal with the Keppra, and still will be taking Lamictal with the Topamax. Anything to say about Topamax? Experiences, things like that? (And I hope everything goes really well with the new Keppra decision!)

@chrisgrosek I was going on 3 years without any seizures. Then 2 months ago, I blacked out for just 10 seconds and realized that since I can't drive for 6 months I might as well see what is out there. Keppra was the one I had not used for my types of seizures and it seems to be working out fine so far. Topamax with me at first my neurologist who saw me overdosed me. I weighed 300 pounds and then was to 240 and skin and bones. The same to you on your your drug cocktail conquest!
