Van Stephenson was a hidden gem, in the Rock World. This is one of the better songs he released. I became so much of a fan of his, that I requested permission from his estate to cover one of his songs- "Modern Day Delilah". My '80s Tribute band, "OutaTime", covers that song, and we may possibly do this song, as well. RIP, Van- hope we're making you proud.
@chamoisleather : Are you an idiot? Surely you realize that Rock an' Roll is the strongest aphrodisiac there is!!! Mick Jagger, Steven Tyler and countless other homely skags drew nookie like noone's business!!! Van might not have had a line out the door, but the faintest scent of success is enough to draw some tramp with stars in her eyes just ready and willing to come off the nookie... Van be came a bigger success when he went into crappy Country and got even more tight pussy! Don't be a dope!!
While vacationing on Cape Cod for a SINGLE week in 1984, Providence's PRO-92 played this a LOT. Should have followed Modern Day Delilah into the top 40 as well.

Hard to believe this is the same Van Stephenson (RIP) that was in both Restless Heart & Blackhawk of the country world. Man back in '84 he rocked!

Amazed no one mentioned this before:
RIP. Died at like only 47--WAY too young.

Nice Vid and song 5 Stars*****
I noticed a few comments that don't prtray Van in a very good light, I am not overly impressed with that type of talk!
As I mention in a vid of mine, lets try picking on people that are at least alive so they can defend themself!
Block ya later Alligator! (Just kidding :)

Nice Vid!! :)
My previous comment was regarding a few people picking on Van.
Van passed away some years ago, and I for one don't appreciate people going after someone that can't defend themselves, I know it is all in fun.
Anyway, Thanks for posting this song and keeping his memory alive :)
