This was the best everquest Raid Video I ever seen. I dont think the guild exist anymore but they made a helluva video here.

I love eq, I have been playing it since I was 5 when I was a small kid in 1999. This game bonded me and my father. I can't believe the people that say leveling is to hard. I had a lvl 35 Iksar Necro in pretty much a month. It's amazing how far this game has come :)

@Aloradelyda Released 1999, before you knew what Dialup was, back when you thought AOL CDS held value.. You were probably sitting around playing twisted metal, its cool tho keep hatin.

It's been said that WoW is only popular because it provides an EQ like experiance without the grinding and 3 to 4 hour loss of experiance. So you fanboys of WoW appreciate EQ even if graphics aren't that great cause without it you wouldn't even have WoW. Hell most of the programmers that work on WoW became programmers because of EQ.

EQ was the first MMORPG that truly captured the hearts of players. You invested sooo much time and effort to get your gear up, build up your AA points and join a clan to take down those uber mobs. The game forced you to cooperate and work as a team or else you wouldn't win, thats what made it unique and so addicting. Epic weapon quests, side quests, dungeon crawls, loot hunts, selling items in East Commons.....oh the memories are fond and sincere. I LOVED EQ!!!

You know what graphics dont make the game. EQ was the greatest MMORPG ever to me. Why you ask for 1 simple reason. YOU WAS AFRAID TO GET YOUR CHAR KILLED. EQ was a cruel mistress. Dieing was punished severely loss of XP, you was ported to your bind spot and your gear and items stay on ur corpse you to get in a certain amount of time before it decayed. Die alot you DELEVEL.
