I've been playing 0:55 to 1:24, the Will Rogers part, over and over. What a wonderful man! The wit plays as well today as it did in 1932, and his personality is so endearing. In the next sound segment, Alben Barkley urged repeal of the 18th amendment (prohibition). Barkley served as vice president under Harry Truman from 1949 to 1953. Fine shots of an historic convention.
