  • They are very smart! But no, we don't speak Korea. In fact, our employers have stressed us not to learn Korean. They want us to only speak English that way our students are forced to be able to understand us. Of course, we've learned several survival phrases.

  • Be quiet~! = 조용~! (Jo yong~!) try it! haha.

  • Emily, how did you get the job in Korea? Were you a teacher in the states?

  • @morrowsinkorea just because they told you not to speak korean in class does not mean they don't want you to learn Korean... of course you can learn Korean outside of your work life if you have time.. but if they're aiming for an immersion class of course you need to speak as much english as possible

  • hamasjhaijklijaijsilhaaaa

  • I got to admire you both...dealing with those noisy and hyper children everyday is not an easy job. If I were in the same situation like you...I would go nuts!
