@AnthonyPhilipTorres The ending is a bit mature in KINGDOM COME, but a revelation-pun intended-happened and a resolution came about out of great tragedy. It's a sophisticated piece of graphic literature. But I can understand your dissatisfaction with the ending.

yes it's good but there is no movement in his paintings. they're frankly boring. jon muth, kent williams, george pratt, esac ribad all paint movement/emotion onto the page. with ross, it just sems like an exercise in technique.

compare ross to virtually any page DRAWN by gil kane or any of the old school. no comparison.

but jp leon is awesome.

I'm an Alex Ross fan too, but that interview was freakin' awkward...

I liked Kingdom Come but i think its overrated. Alex Ross wasn't good with his panel layouts and the story was fairly bland. Nothing new done and the ending felt mismatched. Everyone dies and about 5 pages later everyone is celebrating. The ending just felt to happy go lucky.

your crazy have you ever read kingdom come? It's a totally original comic, his art is great and so is his vision for comics, he takes what was old and makes it new and relevant.

Not too sure on the rest, but I know Alex Ross is doing some Avengers/Invaders thing for Marvel and a Superpowers comic that he's working on.
