@SaintVitus808 yeah, sorry about bein a douche its just my dad had a tecate for 7 years and nothing went wrong with it other than some normal maintenance like swing arm bearings, changing rings etc..... . but yes im 14 im looking to sell my quad for a stock 86' 250r to restore. But it isnt easy finding a stock 250r , they all have pipes and stuff like that. I wish i was 14 in the 80's.

@skatesoft44 P.S. I also think it is great you are watching this video of the glory days of 3 wheelers. these are the days of box vans and large salaries for some of the factory riders. I wish all the race tracks were around for todays youth such as Saddleback, Indian Dunes, Ascot, Riverside etc. keep the A.T.V. racing alive

@skatesoft44 I raced pro 3 wheelers against everyone in this video. I also finaced my racing writing and photographing atvs at all the tracks in california, glamis ,pismo. while writing for 3 & 4 wheel action I would get bikes to test ride and review. as I stated kawasaki tecates were very fast out of the box stock. however the frames, and the swingarms would crack and brake. hondas were far more durable. yes I did crack swingarms & frames on hondas, they just far outlasted the tecates.

@SaintVitus808 if you knew anything about trikes youd know that a tecate was just as good of a machine as the honda.

@kxlover26 you dont shorten the forks you simply loosen up the bolts that hold them on the triple tree and move them up as much as you want and it lowers the front end

@feelingdeluxe A lot of the quad tracks are just as bad, with a couple of jumps thrown in. Seems like bike MX tracks are the center of focus now adays :(

I have an '86 350x and an 85 200x and I love them! Beats the crap out of any 4-wheeler.
