You have actually provided no evidence for any of this and I suspect that if we were having this discussion in India you would be talking about Krishna, if it was Iceland a few centuries ago about Wotan.

verit - The thing with disproving God is it is impossible to disprove the existence of something that has no evidence or logical basis for existing. That's not a weakness in the atheist argument, just imagine arguing that there are no such thing as fairies with someone who simply answers 'you don't need evidence for fairies, you just need faith'.

Proof for the non-existence of the Christian god is easier to find.

1) The logistics in the Old testament are impossible. There could not have been

armies as described in the bible.

2) The great flood didn't happen. There is no evidence for it happening and there would be.
3) The earth is older than 6,000 years old.There is so much evidence for this its not really worth discussing (but we can if you like.)

To any of these points you can say "Yes, but I have faith. This is a common Xtian tactic but it in no way diminishes the argument that the bible is completely wrong, historically, archeologically and ethically.
