Why would anyone spend that kind of money on unreliability is beyond me. Building a super fast, cool ride is one thing, but making it last is another and people don't seem to appreciate this. I'll respect the Europeans when they make a supercar reliable. Go Lexus!
Its not just about torque, its about the tires, firmness of the suspension, weight distribution, drive-train, etc.
And no, German/Jap cars with nearly half the hp aren't beating American cars... Corvette zr1 and Viper srt10 acr both have very competitive lap times very few production cars can beat.
If you're talking torque, many American cars actually have more mid-range torque than japanese/european cars.
My point is, Many American cars are not a joke on the track, its not the 60's.
@sacdude20 lmao really kid? everything in the comment you had stated was incorrect, are you too stupid to understand crystal clear english? i guess so considering how even after i made it clear you are still confused
@sacdude20 The ones you've seen praise the M3 over IS-F are 08 vs 08 comparisons. The newest IS-F now has the LSD, which dramatically improved its handling. So much improved that it beat the best time the M3 posted in VIR's Lightning Lap. I made the LF-A comment to someone a few comments back who said the M3 destroys all Lexus's and another comment from another person said all BMWs are better than all Lexus's. BTW, the LF-A destroys the GT-R in every cornering aspect. GT-R is pure sex though.
@jbayse99 As for your comment on the LF-A, I'm a bit confused as to what your point is...BMW choosing not to make a supercar doesn't immediately discount the entire brand. Especially when you consider that the GTR is $350,000 cheaper and outruns the LF-A in the 0-60 and keeps up with it in the 1/4 mile, it seems like more of a flop to me. I'd imagine if BMW made a car and sold it for over $400k that it would either keep up with or outrun the LF-A. Its a cool car, but not ground breaking.
@andreakatickles1 IM GLAD YOU NOTICE PINK FACE
