'Cause MrEvermist said so... Let's Try Doom 2!

Unlike my last Let's Try where nothing really happened and I was kinda lost... well this one is the complete opposite of that.

Doom 2 was originally for the PC, and got a XBLA port in 2010. This port (the one I'm playing) includes a new expansion called "No Rest for the Living" which adds a few new levels to the game.

I grew up on classic FPS, so this was a blast to do. Doom is all about running and gunning, finding secret areas and weapons and getting to the exit of each level. The game can be either incredibly easy or frustratingly hard depending on which difficulty you play on, but regardless of that you should have a fun time.

I recommend anyone who enjoys video games (so all of you right?) to experience Doom or Doom 2, whether it be the original PC version or the XBLA release. After all, modern FPS wouldn't be the same without classics like these.

Okay, decision time. You have enough money from Christmas to buy one game for the IPhone. Which do you buy? Wolfenstein or Dark Meadow. Both are Doom clones!

I hate the fact that they took the original Ultimate Doom off the XBL Marketplace. I still own it, but it's stupid because people can't purchase the first game anymore, yet the second game is still available. A few other games actually dropped off the marketplace as well, like Quake 4.

Anyways, awesome let's try Mr. Spack! I love the Doom series!

Im not really all for shotting type games but you did a pretty good job

I only played 2 shooting games (unless you count Link's crossbow training then it would be 3)

they where both arcade ones Termonator 3 and the old Sighlent Scope (hopefuly I spelt them corectly)

Dang Odin. I got my pyromania fix last night from Ceptor, and now I have my chainsaw-mania, old school gore-mania, explosion-mania, shotgun-mania, and double-barrel shotgun mania fixes. I am now content... to go chainsaw some peoples myself! Mwuhaha!

Doom 2 is one of my favorite FPSs of all time and it's cool to see the remastered version on Xbox 360. I still play a bunch of WADs and custom maps on a ZDoom emulator. =P
