MV's Favorite VGM #10 - Ooze

The final boss theme from Phantasy Star IV. Very rock 'n and I also like the way that it develops as the battle progresses, similar to Dancing Mad (FFVI) and U.B. (Parasite Eve). Abyss plays before it, but Ooze is when the battle really begins, and it's a much more exciting track.

l take this over Dancing Mad and One Winged Angel anyday, gotta love that dark atmosphere and that funky rhythm.

Am I the only one that thinks the ultimate evil of the universe is sorta... hot? In that "I'm going to rip you apart and scatter your remains across time and space" sort of way.

That, and I can't think of any other ultimate boss that takes a female form (besides Star Ocean's Ethereal Queen, of course).

But either way... Rika is still my favorite.
