The integrated octo has been out for some years and serves to help the diver streamline their equipment. The units have been proven to be safe and reliable and more than convenient to use. In an out of air situation the air donor will use the integrated octo, keeping the bcd functions under his/her control and give up the primary regulator to the person needing assistance.
