When i said i wanted to race in the 500, my friends just pointed and laughed. "racing is not a sport." "dude, racing sucks why do you like it?" They just don't understand.

I remember they played this several times during the rain delay at the 500 in 2007.

The voice of this commercial is my father's. His name is John William Galt.
He is the Sheriff in The Dirt Bike Kid.
He is the voice of LBJ in Forrest Gump AND the movie, JFK.
He is the voice of the grandfather in the game "Prey" and four voices in the game "Deus Ex"
I love my Dad, and he's one of the best voice actors in the nation.

As an Indiana native, I look forward to the month of May each year. There is nothing like the Indianapolis 500. Everyone should experience this race at least once in their lifetime. This really does give me goosebumps and sums up why it truly is the greatest spectacle in racing.
