The sound track to the BBC black comedy Empire Road is still one of my all time fave tracks from 1978. This Matumbi tune from the same year has a real uk feel to it, sending out a message to all the fake Singers and producers who are watering down reggae for popularity sakes. Teach them Matumbi, teach dem!!!!
Love this roots tune. One of the best reggae anthems of all time!

fFake Singers and producers who are watering down reggae for popularity sake to the foundation you have to go down. I now add R&B and Rap to that statement for watering down real black music, which was and should always, be conscious music. I have only one thing to say you. Wolves and Leopards will never kill the sheep and the shepherd.
