It was a nice day at Edmonds, Washington and I decided to take advantage of this rare, but nice January day at the Sounder/Amtrak station to catch some trains.
Train #1: The first Sounder Commuter Train of the evening, SDRX Train #1700 makes a station stop with Cabcar 111 leading and F59PHI #902 trailing.
Train #2: Sounder (SDRX) Commuter Train #1702 makes a station stop with Cabcar 105 leading and F59PHI 908 pushing.
Train #3: Amtrak Eastbound Empire Builder #8 makes a station stops with GE P42DC #155 and 167 on the consist. This consist was pretty unusual because the consist was set in reverse order and it did not have a baggage car as well.
Train #4: The BNSF M-PASVBT Manifest Train rolled by the station with 3 GE C44-9Ws, a BNSF GP38-2 2709, and an ex-BN GP50L 3149 on the 414 axle consist.
Train #5: On the last Sounder Commuter Train of the evening and my last train for the evening, Engineer Dennis was on the controls of Sounder Commuter Train #1706 as usual as it makes a station stop. Off camera, we had a little chat of our day in general before highballing out of the station. I do apologize of the un-levelness of the pan while it was departing though. Cabcar 101 was leading and F59PHI 905 was trailing.
Enjoy the video.
When is the second track going in. I hear Edmonds will have two tracks again as it did once before..

Amtrak #8 sounds like it's got a squealing bell.
