  • @Froid007able Not even close. There have been 3D games of various kinds almost since video games were invented. One of the first consoles ever was called the Vectrex. It had 3D mapping similar to Star Fox. There were also virtual reality visors and other hardware in the 80's. Also, the NES and other comparatively primitive systems had flight simulators and other games which utilized the Z-axis.

    There was also motion control, online gaming, and wireless tech LONG before you would think.
