just cause they are not old does not make them classic... shadow is better than silver to me...
but I am glad they chose to just stick with sonic though... it was a good choice...
it would have been nicer for them to just have tails and sonic though...

well, idk, maybe more like, having them optional... and having extras with them... or maybe you just have to... does not matter ALL that much to me...
maybe they could have a separate story? with DIFFERENT levels for each character?...
idk, we will just have to seen what they do...

I would like sonic, silver and shadow... maybe knuckles and tails too... they are classics :p... again though, I just hope they don't mess it up in putting more playable characters...

I'm pretty excited for this! I'm really hoping for a console game similar to Sonic Rush, but a classic style game would be okay, too.
... and btw, you don't have to love every entry in a franchise to be a true fan. I've stuck with the Sonic series for a long time and I hate it when gaming journalists say it should die, but I have to admit that some of the recent games have been flawed. Sonic Unleashed was actually a big improvement over 06, so I hope the series keeps on improving!

@GSWarrior: A hardcore fan is one that doesn't complain about a "bad game". They play it and find it in their heart to appreciate it. I love all the new Sonic games, and I'm an old school Sonic fan. :p
