Loving Day Celebrations mark the anniversary of Loving v. Virginia (1967), the Supreme Court decision that legalized interracial couples in the United States. These celebrations are held every year on or around June 12th.

This is a video of the Loving Day Flagship Celebration we hosted in New York City, which is the largest of these events (over 1000 guests). We also encourage people to host their own celebrations for friends and family. In 2009, there were 31 celebrations in 3 countries. Loving Day Celebrations are shared among friends and passed down through families to establish a new multicultural tradition.

Loving Day fights racial prejudice through education and builds multicultural community. Its a global network of annual celebrations that you can host or attend. Its also an educational campaign that you can be a part of every day.

  • God is for Interracial Marriage. See Numbers 12 in the Bible. Moses Marries a blackwoman. We all know that Moses looks like Charlton Heston. In numbers 12 of your bible see where Moses' own sister spoke out against Moses' Marriage. God wanted to kill her for speaking out against his interracial marriage, but Moses himself had to get on his knees to beg God not to kill her. God agreed, but insisted that there be some form of punishment so he banned her for 7 days as though dead.

  • Just beautiful. I personally believe that it was no luck of the draw in the grand scheme of things that the people who made this legal in the U.S. that their name was Loving.
