  • Hi, do you recommend cleaning a pad prior to doing a new section on a car? Or can the whole car be polished first THEN the pad cleaned?

    Yes. If you're using a pad washer then clean your pad and then spin the pad on the polisher to get some of the water out. I also keep some clean, terry cloth towels around to help blot out some of the water if I'm using a DA Polisher. If I'm using a rotary then the rotary is pretty good at getting all the water/cleaning solution out. I have a number of articles on this topic in my article list.   • Can this in any way be used to clean pads on a Cyclo polisher? Or do you have to take the pads off the machine and clean them in a different way?
