@myowngenesis Sure there is. Definitely. In spite of how aggressively people argue online, I'd guess most non believers get along fine with the religious people in their lives. The internet is impersonal and the gloves tend to come off quickly here as debates rage. I guess because what gets said here has little real world social consequence. But in my real life I get along just fine with many religious people. My mother, for one. One of my best friends is a Christian. We have friendly debates.

A year ago I was a believer. Now I am an atheist. One of the reason was the videos on Youtube. The Christian videos did more to help me realize that fallacies in my faith then the ones made by atheists. The Banana Man video was over the top. Once I saw that video I could no longer maintain that it is rational to be a Christian.

So I vote yes on increasing the dialog. Religion exists in silence. Let's drag religion out into the light and watch it melt.

On near death - I don't subscribe to it myself. I know many people have had the experiences but they have also been reproduced under lab conditions by using a centrifuge. Apparently, if you exert enough stress on the body under certain circumstances your brain will flood you with a standard kind of pleasant imagery before you completely pass out.
