Giovanna Galindo and Her Fancy Band

a couple of weeks ago [a month, maybe?], i played a show in brockport with my friends tim avery and lauren o'connell. at this show, i also had the privilege of playing with my good friend giovanna galindo. it was her first show, tho you wouldn't really know at all.

halfway through her second song, i remembered to turn my camera on. so you'll see from half of her second song to the end of the set. these songs include with arms outstretched by rilo kiley, the train song by ben gibbard and feist [originally by vashti bunyan], and an original song called floorboards.

tim avery plays guitar, as well here, furthest from the camera. i am playing closest to the camera and singing [obviously] on train song. clearly, giovanna is in the middle.

oh! watch for the part in floorboards where the music stops and then picks up when giovanna starts singing again. you see me make a face and tim shrug because we had never, every played it that way, but it worked out pretty well. it's one of my favourite moments in the video.
