Sometimes it doesn't matter if a person is asked for their opinion when it comes to matters of what is right, and what is wrong. The fact is, any research done on this topic shows unequivocally that physical punishment is less effective than non-physical punishment, and individuals who are raised in a home where corporal punishment is used are more inclined to use violence later in life as a means to solve problems. That doesn't make the world a better place.
