Well I just upgraded to DCS World 1.2.1 and the only airframe I can fly without a big hit to FPS is the P-51! Thank goodness it's a hell of a lot of fun to fly! I heard they modeled the Emergency War Power with this update so I gave it a try...and promptly blew up my engine. I should read the manual. I started recording right after the engine went.
