I was there this past April and I did the same thing. It was really odd to finally be at the place I'd seen in so many movies, news specials, and shows.
I wont argue shots were fired from that (6th floor) area, or even that window... I dont believe it was Oswald who fired them, his involvement, if any, was not the shooting. I am a firm believer in a second gunman, the plausability with the depository bldg window can be answered by looking up from the road, not the hardest shot indeed. But I cannot be convinced the head shot was from the window, nor from that direction at all.
@dynamic21150 Yes, I went there myself in the 90s. Looking out that window (actually the one next to it) clinched it for me; the few remaining doubts I had vanished. Oswald fired those shots, and there were no other shooters.
The whole place seemed so much smaller than I'd imagined it. Oswald's shots were easy. The only question is why he needed three to hit his target, but that can easily be explained by nerves.
@ApolloWasReal There are ALWAYS people there, the 6th floor museum is right next to it and when the traffic is stopped at the lights up above, people are in the middle of the road taking pitures and everything. Its an interesting spot to visit... getting a good look for yourself is the best part
Would have been
nice to see this video continue to Parkland
