Not bad. Might try dual 102 whips on the truck. With LMR 400 for the coax. You'll notice the coax won't get as hot and being nearly a 1/4 wave will help a much more than those firesticks. There is a reason they call them firesticks. If you push too much power the coils become giant inductive heating coils and they can cook them selfs!! 102 inch whips are the way to go while mobile though.
K 40 has been around for over 30 years. I had one once and it worked great. they just dont take the power though. Nice old school Chevrolet PU!

@TheZeke1974 Yeah I have always been fond of the K40's I have had really good service with them. Thanks The 70's paint job is growing on me lol

thanks chopper one more question do the amps run srtaight out the box or do i need to convert to 11 meter?

I have never had to convert one or do anything but hook up the coax and make sure your radio is dead keying around 2watts unless the linear you purchase is a high drive but most are not i never key more than 2 just to be safe

you can use a 10 meter amp on 11 meter(CB band) Check ebay type in Linear Amplifier I have saw a few on Craigs list also
