@northholt. I'm English. I first heard Margaret Barry on the BBC in maybe 1996, singing a song called The Flower Of Sweet Strabane, and I thought it one of the very best examples of the human singing voice I'd ever heard. Still do, and that's in 60 years of life as a lover of many different kinds of music, and an amateur singer myself. You may be ignorant - actually, you clearly are - but there's no need to be unpleasant and offensive as well. That's your choice, and it's a bad & stupid choice.
@northholt Why would you be listening to Magret Barry if you dont like or understand her music or way of life. Your tryin to start shit.and dont be callin any a pikey.Rem snatch......
I want a shawl like this! Isn"t Margaret wonderful! If she was alive now she would be a star.Every now and then you hear a beautiful sad quality to her voice. Luke Kelly liked her and thats good enough 4 me.
@northholt I'm English and I know who Margaret Barry was, as do a lot of my friends. Re your comments, 'Queen's' requires an apostrophe, and 'English/England' a capital letter, as does 'For' after a question mark, and 'My' and 'Just' at the start of a sentence, 'I never' should be I've never. Most Irish people I've met are very intelligent, but you would appear to have shit for brains. My compliments on your command of the Queen's English. Which call centre are you working in at the moment?
