  • a that was a laugh.!

    what a weekend.

  • Yeah I know that - it's still intelligible to me as an Irish-speaker.

  • Actually your very close to the mark there, but Irish and scottish Gaelic developed into two seperate languages a bit like Chezch and Slovak or Polish sounding the same but different.

  • Seadh, tha tòrr dhen ceoladairean Gàidhlig a' cluich ceòl tradiseanta, no ceol ann an nòs tradiseanta, ach chan eil mi a' smaoineachadh gu bheil sin rud dona e--'S toil leam ceòl tradiseanta! Ach, chòrdadh e rium ma bhios barrachd ceòladairean a' cluich ròc, hip-hop, no nòis ùr eile ("tonn nuadh", 's docha) cuideachd.

  • Gàidhlig sounds like Irish mixed with a Norse accent - strange lol - ach tha i glè mhath!

  • Bha e math Oi Polloi fhaicinn agus na Cuimrich. S bochd gu bheil uiread ceoladair Albannach fhathast a' cluich ceol sean-fhasanta no 'traidiseanta' mar a chanas iad. Tha sinn a' fuireachd ann an 2008 - chan e linn Bhictoria!
